Abstract
Image is taken from a FWR field lab in Winter Limnology (or lake study) - Logan Lake BC. The first component is spent with students sampling one of the lakes located on the Highland Valley Copper Mine just outside of Logan Lake. Once samples and data have been collected, the students are then hosted by the environmental staff from the mine for a presentation & tour of the mining operation (as seen from the Highland Valley images). The second component occurs on the third & last day of the field trip when students travel to Kamloops to connect with BC Min. of Environment staff for a wildlife related exercise. For this particular exercise, FWR students helped out with a bighorn sheep capture & relocation project (as seen from the bighorn sheep images). There are 22 images documenting this field trip.
