The Fraser Delta is a critical habitat for raptors which migrate to the area to take advantage of the abundant food and temperate climate. In addition, raptors stay in the Fraser Delta year-round. Delta Farmland and Wildlife trust has implemented programs to enhance wildlife habitats, especially for wintering raptors, while promoting sustainable farming strategies. This report documented the abundance trends and use of different habitat types by wintering raptors in the farmland of Delta, B.C.
