Abstract
The purpose of this project was to conduct a Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) for a proposed senior community care facility (G47 – Seniors Institutional Development) in accordance with the City of Vancouver's Transportation Assessment and Management Study (TAMS) Guidelines. The purpose of this TIA was to analyze and evaluate the traffic impacts caused by the development on the surrounding road network. The main project objectives involved traffic data collection, analyze traffic operations using Synchro Studio, signal warrant analyses, site plan review of parking and loading requirements, and a TIA client report.
